WELCOME TO THE LAIR!

This website was designed to be educational as well as commercial. The scientific bases for the functions of crystal resonators have been investigated by the writer for over two decades. Some of this material is available within the LAIR and an associated website. By way of introduction, my name is Larry L. Babcock. I am a PhD geologist (Michigan Technological University, 1974) specializing in geochemistry and mineralogy. The related website concerns my scientific paper entitled: "The Basic Electromagnetic Identity and Universal Structure", 1993, Appendix 3 of the above cited BEI paper is particularly relevant to LAR'S Crystal LAIR: "The Structural Bases of Quartz".

Several brief documents of a technical and educational nature are presented in the LAIR in explanation of the basic types of functions of crystal resonators and their fundamental relationships to universal structure via their crystal structure.

Within the LAIR you will also find a GLOSSARY of terms used in these brief educational documents as well as a BIBLIOGRAPHY of 'Crystal Books' and related books concerning the human energy field and how it interacts with the energy field on the Earth's surface.

At the present time, the writer has no all encompassing, PR specialist-approved 'buzz word' to describe crystal resonators, such as "Crystal-Energetics", GEO-ENERGETICS", etc. However, I will be describing how crystal resonators function, in both layman's and scientific terms, and offering crystals and pebbles for sale. Various documents within the LAIR and associated site have not yet been compiled into book form, but "I am working on it!"

Crystals as Resonators

All crystals are resonators to a greater or lesser degree when placed in proximity to the Earth's surface. When so placed, they are immersed within the energy field above the Earth's static and dynamic energy grids. Those crystals which have no symmetry center simply resonate (because they are structurally synchronized) with the Earth's surficial energy field. Some of these non-centrosymmetric crystals exhibit a preferred orientation in order to maximize their efficiency as resonators. For example, the vertical axis of a quartz crystal is in a "maximal energy orientation" when vertical in relation to the Earth's surface. This is because of the fact that the c axis of quartz is a function of Radius of the Earth waves, which are everywhere perpendicular to the Earth's surface. When horizontal = laying on its side, on a prism face, a quartz crystal is in a "minimal energy orientation" at 90° = out of phase! with the vertical maximal energy orientation. The writer defines crystal resonators without a symmetry center, such as quartz and tourmaline, as "Field Synchronization Resonators" (FSRs). Fields are 3-dimensional, hence FSRs involve volume functions (space).

Garnet, on the other hand, has a center and numerous axes and planes of symmetry. The symmetry center of a garnet provides a centering function, via its specific locational parameters, because the center exists here in Normal space (N-space) and Reciprocal space (R-space), as well. (Ref., BEI paper) When one meditates with a garnet crystal firmly in hand, their precise location in space is defined by the crystal center, a 1-dimensional point. If the garnet has a high iron content, like the almandites offered within the LAIR, there is an additional electromagnetic grounding effect as well as point- and field synchronizations!

Magnetite crystals and pebbles are some of the most efficient electromagnetic resonators, because they contain about 72 % iron (Fe). In addition, each crystal or grain has a very high order of cubic symmetry, including a center, and magnetic domains of various sizes and shapes, which interact with the Earth's magnetic field. The effects of magnetite on the human body and its energy field are enhanced when utilized with Fe-tourmaline (black variety). Tourmaline is an FSR with three vertical planes of symmetry and a vertical line of intersection (2-dimensional), which is the c axcis of the crystal. Tourmaline has no symmetry center and must be held vertically, like quartz, in order to maximize its efficiency as a resonator.

These are but a few brief examples of some of the secrets of "crystal energy" revealed within LAR'S Crystal LAIR!
